I'm an Entobian White Necromancer, still dwelling on whether or not I'll take an archetype. I have healing spells in my list, and I will continue to take some even as I raise an army of friendly people.

Question to DM: Do we know if the people of the town speak our language? Would've those men from before have told us?

Yes, they are said to have spoken Common, and it can be typically assumed most civilizations will speak at least Common, with a few outliers.
